Ride and Shine Adaptive Horseback Riding Program
 

Ride and Shine Adaptive Horseback Riding Program provides therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with physical and mental disabilities.  We use specially trained horses to achieve increased balance, muscular control and attention skills while providing exercise and fun!

Therapeutic riding also assists in the development of socialization skills and enhances our students’ self-esteem.  Some of our students have spoken their first words ever to their Ride and Shine horse, telling him (or her) to “walk on.”

We are located in Shingle Springs and our lesson days are Tuesday and Thursday.  If you would like to volunteer or learn more about our program, call 530-676-1920.
